**Let the Judgement Be**

Ever notice how easy it is to judge and how hard it is to just… let it be? How do you cultivate a space where you can judge less and appreciate more? What’s one judgment you’re willing to laugh at today?"

I gave my boyfriend a picture of myself from when I was a toddler, because I knew he would find it so cute… He ended up framing it and putting it in our living room :joy: And something beautiful came from that… I’ve found that whenever I’m in a place of heavily judging myself, if I happen to glance at that photo, my heart immediately softens.

I remind myself constantly to consider why I am judging someone else because it constantly happens even if my motive is nonjudgmental. For example, I take calls on a helpline and someone says something rude which makes me want to hang the phone up then I force myself to consider 1. Their mood has nothing to do with ME 2. What is their life like? Just sitting with the idea of the variations of lives including being sick, lonely or just our genetics and environment… any variation. It helps to stop projecting onto them my transference from my own emotional baggage. Then they seem to be more calm and it can open up a different dialogue. And sometimes they just hand up on me lol
