What did you find inspiring, interesting, controversial, or curious about tonight’s talk?
Nina was very clear, Loving, and grounded. Even when she talked about how difficult something was, she made it sound easy!
I missed most of it, but I loved listening to Nina’s chanting of “Sri Ram Jai Ram”
Grateful for her presence that communicated across time and place. Grateful for her words that conveyed such needed wisdom. And the chant . . . ohhhh was that a gift on this night.
I just finished watching the replay. Nina’s chant was so beautiful and peaceful! I plan to listen to it again.
Parts that resonated with me:
- Start dropping judgment (It is hard work, but I have hope it is possible.)
- All children of the same Mother. (I will sit with this in a meditation.)
- Watch/Hear/Don’t Say
- Take a Breath
- Use words wisely
- We do have to set boundaries and protect ourselves, but we don’t have to harm others. (currently in progress…)
- We don’t know what we are seeing…greet all people with a sense of openness to help clear the dust off of our hearts (STAY OPEN!)
- Cultivate compassion for All & Self
Thank you, Nina!
Jackie-- the part where you were still muted but speaking with such joy came through the video! It made me smile and laugh with joy, too!
“You really cant unsay things” this is something which I live by. Today’s talk was wonderful, it talked about setting boundaries but at the same time Nina told how to be compassionate and kind, people are who they are but listening to someone and creating a space can make a whole lot of difference.
