What did you find inspiring, interesting, controversial, or curious about tonight’s talk?
Dr. Svoboda had many ‘pith’ instructions…all of them so compelling.
But the ‘one word’ for god…whatever that is…is really going to stick for this soul.
Had been saying “ram…ram…ram” ala Neem Karoli Baba via Ram Dass for awhile before this evening. Though, after tonight, I suspect that it will be engraved in my consciousness and sub-consciousness now…
I wanted to save the chat but didn’t see the usual tab so to do. Is it possible to save the chat each nite? It is so distracting to read it during the zoom
Asked this question elsewhere yesterday: Are you anti-AI? I would love to also have a transcript of these talks. At time it would be easier to find what I want to re-visit by scanning the text.
Tonite was excellent. Thank you. (although I was one of the several who thought we were near the END of the Kali Yuga!)
About the one word practice – I loved that too! It was so helpful the way he explained it exactly why it’s so helpful. That practice hadn’t really stuck for me before, but I know it will now that I have a greater understanding.
I really enjoyed the talk last night. I found Robert’s clear and concise advice very helpful and easy to understand. But one thing I didn’t love, was his repeated instruction to “not get overwhelmed” “not feel ________ for too long” etc. I understand what he’s saying – don’t cling to these states, don’t get lost in them. But I fear that for some people, this instruction of his could easily lead to rejecting or repressing those emotions when they come up, or getting frustrated that they arose in the first place… which many of us tend to do plenty enough already. I wish he had emphasized more strongly that that’s not the path either – that when these emotions come up, we notice, feel, and accept them as part of our experience, and show love to this part of yourself, while letting this pass when it’s ready. Which in my experience, happens pretty quickly if I truly allow and feel the emotion fully.
Same here! Such a simple thing, but I would never have thought of it either.
For this alone, I’m so grateful for this course🙏
Much love,
Teri ~
