What did you find inspiring, interesting, controversial, or curious about tonight’s talk?
EVERYTHING! It is rare to meet anyone who “walks his talk” so completely and LOVEingly!! This was my second encounter with Fr. Boyle, and he is really an embodimenet of the wisdom humanity needs! The first time I heard him was on the following video which I would also heartily recommend:

Father John is a true gem, I’m so inspired and in awe of his work and the stories he shared about the people he’s encountered. I loved the point about the opposite of hate being health, and that it’s impossible to be healthy with hate in our heart. That even those who are acting out in such harmful ways, are worthy of compassion and are simply sick. It doesn’t free them of their responsibility for their actions, but it absolutely helps me humanize and relate to that person.
