What Inspired You to Join?

I have been aching to meet more people on this eclectic path that I have been on for almost 10 years now. I used to be violently atheist, but then my mother passed and someone gave me some LSD and a copy of Be Here Now. I took enough LSD that I became the :om: symbol for approximately 4 hours. That was a clear sign that at least the Buddhists were on to something. Ever since then I have been obsessed with RD, KD, and meditation of various kinds. I need to meet others so I can stop singing the Chaleesa alone!!

I live on a sailboat with my husband, slowly traveling and navigating new waters. Along the way, my spiritual journey began to speak to me in new ways: it has been both a beautiful and painful transformation. I had heard of Ram Dass but didn’t know his work in-depth. Once I plunged in, I was overwhelmed with a peace that filled my whole Being!

I am grateful for this time to dig deeper into my inner layers and see all the beautiful and flawed parts that whisper a message that I am where I need to be, even if I don’t understand it and sometimes feel muddled.

I am grateful for this community of people who want to share, inspire, and learn more about the threads of love that bind us all together.

Have a bee-autiful day & spiral on!

I’ve studied RD’s teachings for decades. I miss his passing and although I’m currently involved with a new living guru ( Anand Mehrota ), I’m still charmed with his teachings and wanted to experience the current workshop. I’m pleased to listen to the snippets of his recordings. RD is still relevant today!
Bring it on! I am Loving Awareness :pray:John B Free

Hello. I’m joining you from Berlin, Germany, and was lucky enough to watch all of the talks since day 1. I’ve first heard of Ram Dass in 2012 when I took psychotherapy (or rather a Gestalt therapy) in Germany with a doctor who had been one of his disciples. He had a photo of Ram Dass on the wall in his seminar room and I started to inquire. I’m listening to your podcast of his teachings and I’m very grateful for all the insights he offers. He touched my heart and raised my spirit a thousand times. Thank you very much for your service and your love.
